Random Bingo number

This page explains how Bingo Caller Online builds the call deck, draws without replacement, and what fairness boundaries apply for casual hosting.

Deck construction at game start

When you start 75-ball, 90-ball, or a custom bag, the tool builds the integer pool from 1 through your ball count (75-ball also maps numbers to B–I–N–G–O column letters for display).

That pool is shuffled once using Fisher–Yates with random indices from crypto.getRandomValues. The shuffle order is fixed for the game until you reset or choose a new preset.

Sequential calls without replacement

Each Call next takes the next entry from the shuffled array and removes it from the remaining pool. The UI never reveals future balls; only called numbers appear on the board and in history.

Repeat and speech features re-announce the current call—they do not consume an extra ball from the deck.

Practice draws and auto-call

Draw practice ball uses the same random helper for a single label but does not mutate the main session deck or call list.

Auto-call on delay schedules Call next after your Delay between calls interval, respecting Pause and in-flight speech settings.

Storage and non-guarantees

Game state and host settings are stored in this browser’s localStorage. They are not uploaded as a server-side audit log for regulators.

This methodology supports casual community and classroom hosting—not certified random products, lotteries, or wagering systems.

Call sequence and repeat rules

Called numbers are tracked in a set for the active game; the tool prevents duplicate calls unless the operator resets the session, matching how physical bingo cages behave.

Speech synthesis uses the browser voice the host selects; failure to speak is usually a device permission or voice load issue, not a change to which number was chosen.

Hosting on projectors and video calls

Fullscreen and large-type modes prioritize legibility over decorative animation so late joins can read the latest call from across a room.

Latency on video calls is a network concern; the caller should pause auto-call when discussing winners so numbers are not skipped on stream.
